Athenic LLC ("Athenic") is a technology platform that helps users establish and operate self-directed Roth and Traditional IRAs designed for on-chain activity. Athenic is not an exchange, custodian, trust company, broker, dealer, broker-dealer, investment adviser, investment manager, or funding portal.

Athenic is not affiliated with—and does not endorse—any cryptocurrency, blockchain token, protocol, or investment strategy.

We provide the technology, workflows, and administrative routing needed to support a self-directed IRA structured for crypto and DeFi. You choose how to use your IRA; Athenic does not direct or manage your investments.

Athenic is not the custodian of your IRA. All IRAs are opened with and legally held by a regulated third-party custodian. The custodian owns the IRA assets and handles all IRS-required reporting for the account.

Athenic provides the IRA-owned LLC formation, wallet infrastructure guidance, transaction routing tools, and ongoing administration necessary to maintain the self-directed structure. Athenic does not have authority over your account, investment decisions, or assets.
